This print depicts my painting “Nude at Rest.” Painted to process my feelings and experience of the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown, this image represents the tension between protection from a dangerous outside world and the yearning for human connection that comes with isolation. Turned from the window, the nude figure faces the viewer, eyes half-open, but body still protected. A period of history burned into our hearts and minds, I fear.
